Archaeology and tourism
Archaeology
is one of sciences it wake up the interest for the remote past of
men. Technologies, crafts and symbols of old societies provoke the
human curiosity and throughout studies of traces is possible to understand
a little about the interaction between these cultures and environment.
Two fundamental forms of human relationship are depicted in the rupestrian
art: the one between individuals (as interpreters of their own time
and culture), and the one between individuals and life itself, with
representations of sexuality (human beings and other animals) and
intellectual representations (space and pure abstractions). These
are the representation systems that allow symbols to become established
within societies.
Archaeological sites present a strong appeal to visitation, consequence of men's curiosity about their past and other cultures. Tehe best way to preserve these sites is a wide diffusion of its cultural contents.
